hellooooo!!!!!
woah its been a week since i found time to come online! ive been soooooo busy with work recently! im currently shuttling between two jobs, banquetting at st regis hotel and waitressing at a japanese restaurant at cuppage terrace. both of them are equally satisfying and fun! and i made alot of new friends too. :) but its damn tiring la, i have to wake up at 4am in the morning to prepare for the hotel one! have to be there before 7am lol. ohhhh, and yesterday right, me and stephanie was told to go report to the kitchen of les savours of the hotel, which is a restaurant or something. so 7am we went there, and we started to help them be food runner and all sorts, folding napkins, offering coffee and tea, bread and so on. and the chefs there were so friendly! they were talking to me as i was waiting for the food to be ready haha. hot italian/french/angmoh chefs okay! then as i was in a midst of a hearty chat, our manager came in at 9.30am and told us that we were at the wrong place. we were supposed to go to the ballroom to help out! wah siansation leh. i was anticipating to eat this fried egg with bacon which they kept for later. KNS! and then that's not the worst. our manager said we would not get paid for our two and a half's hours of work as the kitchen is not under their charge and blah blah. so we worked for nothing! damn it i tell you! i dont care, im not doing free labour, so im gonna pester them haha. we did nothing wrong what, we just followed instructions. blame it on the fault on their part for the miscommunication, relayed me the wrong information. lol. what more supposed to end at 11am one lor! but they kept me till around 1pm, say not enough ppl and blah blah. what the hell. D:


but never mind la. anyway, i made some tiramisu a few days ago. :)



i used this tirasimu mix from MUJI.



and a bowl of milk, cooled to room temperature.



mix the tiramisu powder and milk together....



till you get this thick texture.



pour it into containers, and add anything you want in it. bread, biscuits, coffee, sponge cake...i added chocolate syrup haha.



this is the chocolate syrup i use. from meidi-ya supermarket at liang court. haha.



then put it into the fridge for one or two hours to harden. and then sprinkle the cocoa powder on top and you'll get this! looks very tasty right!



and it sure is! haha, its light and soft and melt in your mouth! and it's sweet and smooth... lol. maybe you guys should try making it too! very easy to make one, no need to boil the milk or what. lol.


i bought another mix which is some layered cheese mousse i think. havent tried it yet, but will soon when i find the time to. haha.



me and debbie went to walk around paragon after work some days ago and i tried on this dress! very pretty right! but its over a $100. D: and it's made of silk actually. quite lame la silk dress haha. but its so pretty!



these are the two other flavours of meltykiss. the pink one is strawberry and the purple one is rum. every year also got strawberry one, but the rum is a new flavour! i tried it and its quite nice. can taste the bitterness of the rum but the chocolate is sweet. haha. try it! and dont buy from 7-11, they sell for $4.40 if im not wrong. so expensive! haha.

(?) naughty naughty baby.


i wanted to post a few pictures of me at work but the pictures are not in my phone. shall do it when stephanie sends it to me. later i still have work at 5. sians haha. very tired. dont even have a off day. i wanna go out and play! everyone please feel free to talk to me as im so cut off from the world. i havent watched tv in ages or went online or read the papers. so busy with work haha. i dont even know when's the next time i can come online. lol. maybe i can become maddox and post a few times a year LOL. i feel a need to go out, clubbing anyone? or just out for movies or tea or something ahahaha. everyone seems too busy too, hais.

hello my lovelies! yesterday was my official first day of work at the japanese restaurant! it went quite smoothly actually, im grateful for the friendly staff there! and you know what? over 80% of the customers are japanese! haha! but i cant speak japanese for god's sake, im having trouble remembering the names of the dish! lol. but luckily most of them knows how to speak english. hee. looking forward to tmr night where i will be back there working again!


oh and the japanese food right, IT SMELLS FRIGGIN DELICIOUS. really! i had to resist myself from stealing a bite from the dishes i was serving, haha. but the food portion is damn kiam and it's VERY EXPENSIVE. two sticks of chicken yakitori is $6. a plate of omelette is $12. and they very scheming. once the customer sits at the table, they will serve the appetizer which is like a small little bowl of shredded vegetables in some sauce. $3. ahaha. cant even refuse it lor. and they have this special room upstairs which is in the traditional japanese style, need to take out shoes and sit on the tatami mats. but there is a hole under the table for the legs. but the people serving the food will have to kneel beside the table and act so 淑女 haha. quite fun actually. :)


today morning, me and steph went for the training at tcc today. it's some kind of hotel school, where they will train you to be waitresses for hotels. very long and draggy but quite okay la. the trainer was very funny haha. so our banquetting job will start this coming monday! i hope it will be fun and i hope i wont spill anything. (i spilt champagne on the barclay's event and soya sauce at the japanese restaurant. D:) yeps. at st regis that high class place somemore. one square feet is at least $5000. which is only the area of the toilet bowl you're sitting on, without the toilet bowl. haha, just that patch of floor. oh well, i hope i make some new friends. hee.

i uploaded this for quite some time but forgot to post it up. YESSSSSS, MELTYKISS IS BACK AGAIN. *throws confetti* haha. if you dont know what is this, you ought to lock yourself up in a cave and stay there. lol no lar. its a kind of seasonal chocolate that is only available during winter/christmas/end of the year. haha. i buy this chocolate without fail every year, and i was so glad it is out again this year! every year there's a different selection of flavours, last year was greentea, strawberry and dark chocolate(if i remembered correctly.) and this year's one im not sure, but i bought the white one! which is cream-flavoured i think? there's another purple box one and another box which i forgot the colour. haha. i will buy the other flavours soon and do a review on it. lol.


and if some of you are wondering how it tastes like, well, it's like a cube of chocolate dusted with cocoa powder. and the best way to eat it is to put everything in your mouth and let it melt all around your teeth, and lick it away. hoho. and the name "meltykiss" was chosen for a reason i guess. it's very nice! haha. sweet but not too overpowering, cos the cocoa powder is a bit bitter. woohoo. tastes like a piece of heaven haha.


you can get this delicacy at all leading supermarkets and convenience stall. i bought mine at meidi-ya though. it's around $3.50 for a box i think. haha.


kay, now for more food. hoho. went to pasta cafe today for some good food! <333



this is the lobster salad. the lobster tastes damn fresh sweet (鲜甜) and it is drizzled with some tangy yet spicy mango sauce. good appetizer.



on the left is the lobster and seafood cream pasta, which is heavenly. the cream is damn nice! and on the right is mushroom and beef gratin. heavenly too man, very cheesy haha.



and on the left is the beef lagsana, which is not bad. and on the right is the mushroom tomato cream pasta, which is very nice too. lol.


pasta cafe is at ngee ann city just beside yoshinoya and pepper lunch there. they are famous for their slipper lobster pasta, which i shall try the next time i go there. haha. and the cheese there is the very smelly kind, very nice sia. the smellier the better LOL.

hola there. i forgot to mention that my stocks arrived last friday! woohoo! i will be setting up a blogshop soon and i'll post the pictures of it after i take it! yes, i bought many many planospecs, anyone interested? havent decided the price yet, but i can guarantee you it's cheaper than outside or any other blogshop(mine has lens one okay). i saw one pair selling at haji lane for like $29.90?! exact same one! haha. ive only got one pair for most of the design so you gotta hurry before others grab it okay? haha. here's a sneak preview of the specs:

went out with stephanie on saturday, and i realised i miss her so much! we only go out a few times a year, cos she's busy in her school and im busy with mine. but now, since her o levels are over, im gonna see her every single day cos we're working together! haha. cant wait. miss her so much. and it's been a week or more in the holidays and im already missing my friends from 4L too. ive been caught up with work so recently to go out and have fun! shall do that soon, after i make lotsa moolah. haha.



after meeting steph, i went for a family dinner at FORUM. yep, this is my cousin, teresa. haha. she's already primary 5 man, next year PSLE. time flies so fast, i can still remember when i first saw her as a toddler! lol. and justin, my other cousin, grew so fast! he's also only primary 5 but he's already 1.6m. tall right! wahlau last time he was only up till my waist! haha, kids nowadays have the best of everything, grew up in a good environment, wealthy parents, lotsa of nutritions, happy...hais...

hello everyone! sorry i havent been blogging since like forever! was so busy, didnt have time to go online! haha. btw, i found two jobs! one will be at a hotel and another will be at an authentic japanese restaurant! both are waitressing jobs haha. im more looking foreward to the japanese restaurant one as it pays more and location is quite good (at orchard road, beside hotel, night spot, tourists, more money!). haha. oh, and the boss is japanese! how cool is that lol. i will be starting work this friday hee. but for now im still stuck in my father's office. lol.


so all my nights are like booked now la, no need go clubbing already! lol.
oh, there's this guy who gave me a call and offered me a job at a sex shop. you know, those shops that sell sex toys. and he asked me if i know how to use them. fuck you la guy, whoever you are. dont pollute my innocent mind lol. though he said there was a 14 year old girl who worked there as she was desparate for money. (?)


anyway, marc asked me to flame the "cottage waffles" at playground@suntec, beside the toys r us there. there's another branch at SMU too but the manager there was kinder. the whole story was that, the cottage waffle boss(let's call him R), asked us to do a signboard for his shop. after we did it and installed it for him and everything, he keep saying our sign not good, so ugly, dropping off and blah...when there is nothing wrong with it at all. and he refuse to pay the $300. shenjingbing i tell you! but in the end, my sister threatened to take down the sign, then he reluctantly sent someone to give us the payment. i bet he's afraid to see us lor! always lying. but anyway, please boycott his shop okay! or you can go eat his waffle and go complain, say not nice and everything right in front of his face. haha.


ohh, i went for dinner at FORUM yesterday with all my relatives from my father's side, and they are planning to go to taiwan! yay! i never went taiwan before and i hope this time my father is not lying to me again. he always say wanna go somewhere but never go one! haha. took some pictures with my cousin but havent upload yet. will post it next time.


and i realised, there is no need to be angry at anything. it is simply childish and insensitive to get angry over some minor matter. so im not sad or angry anymore, cos ive found the right medicine to cure all these. and if you're currently angry or sad at something, here's some of my medicine:

hello everyone. last night was a blast! it was freaking awesome, i made alot of new friends and had alot of fun. i didnt feel like a job to me haha. we just had to serve drinks and clear their empty glasses. it was an annual barclay's event, where there are many people from around the world gathered here to chill out. haha. lotsa angmohs. yea, we all had fun. but my feet hurt from the walking. non-stop okay! but i enjoyed myself la. :D

i know, im sorry.
i was working as usual and skippy came over under the table and slept there. such a sweetie. when i walk into the shop, he'll greet me by jumping so happily and wanting to lick my face. and he'll start his crazy antics and run all over the place. he hasnt bathe for days and he keeps scratching himself. and everybody's too busy to entertain the poor little doggy. he lazes around looking at everybody with those sad sad eyes, you know, puppy eyes. and he'll suddenly spot a glove or a piece of cloth on the floor and pounce over it to wrestle with it. and he'll make growling noises but his tail will wag. and he sometimes also scratch his back against the floor and he looks so silly. and if you call his name, he'll happily skip over with that happy face, eyes brighten up, tongue out, eyes propped up, tail wagging. and he'll lie on his back to ask you to scratch his belly, sometimes giving out a sneeze or two. and if you're eating something or offering him treats, he'll sit there with the puppy eyes, staring at the treat. if you hold it long enough, he'll start drooling all over the floor. and you can make him put his "paw" on your hand, or you can "sayang" him, or make his "jump and turn around", with his eyes glued to the treat not blinking. and whenever some stranger walks in, he'll sniff the person and sometimes naughtily hump them, making my everyone shout at him and beat him with the chicken feather stick thingy. and then he'll get so sad and hide under the table and make sobbing sniffing noises. and when you finally leave him for the day, he'll be even sadder and his eyebrows will be crossed and he'll look at you with those sad sad puppyeyes as if he's saying "don't leave me here." and he'll start walking very slowly and sitting there watching you disappear behind the closed doors. and after you close the door, you can hear him barking and barking like he's saying "don't go! come back!".

HOLA EVERYONE!
today is the second day at work! nothing much la, did the same things too. lol. but i wanna find a new job! debbie and dodo found theirs already, but i wanna find another one! i promised winnie to go with her to isetan to look for one selling make up and promised stephanie to accompany her to look for hers too. at the same time, im still waiting for bear workshop to call! i sooooo wanna go for their event at the flyer! can you imagine? i wanna go on the flyer but this jobs not only allows to do so, still pays me for it! but must stay up there for 8 hours and mingle with the people. lol! gotta find a job soon!


this thurday event! debbie corrected me, it's Paramour3@gotham penthouse. and please go to their website to see the place, it's so pretty! gotta check out their zen like bathroom LOL. i havent went clubbing before(krunk was a beach party so it doesnt count), and i decided since im finally and officially sixteen, and it's the holidays, i should try getting high and wasted for once! but i dont know how to dance lol. im gonna go there and do the sun dance for everybody. (?) but i want more people to join us as well! the more the merrier! anyone? D:


i chose my subject combinations for next year already. here's my choices:
1st choice: 4H2 (math chem econs lit)

3rd choice: 3H2 (math ELS econs) 1H1 (lit)
ELS = English Language Studies, chose that becos i had nothing else to choose. lol. i hope i didnt make any wrong choices! i've asked around and they agreed with my choices. cheehooi's one is exactly the same as mine, but her 4H2 must appeal! i hope she really gets it, then we'll be in the same class! im praying hard!

hi everyone! im at work now, at my father's office. haha. the work is very simple admin stuff, like sending out letters. lol. i'll be here for the next week weekdays or so, or until some other job offers turn up. im still waiting for some other jobs that i have applied to call me, they said by this week! haha.


anyway, does anyone want to go to the gotham penthouse with me this thursday. there's a mixed age event(paramount?) there, and from the website, the place looks pretty! shall go check it out yea, but we have so little people going haha. then again, i dont know if my mum allows and ive got nothing to wear. and i cant dance. (?) lol. see first la, but i wanna go leh. D:

so that's it. the last day of school. the last official day of 4L. even mr suria is going to take a break back at india for 6 months. it didnt ended like how i expected it would though. i thought there would be tears and hugs and picture takings. but none of those actually. as we were doing our last class cleanliness duties, i took a good look at everybody. i really cant bear to part with 4L. i must say 4L is a very adorable class, everybody is so cute. i dont know how am i going to step into a new class next year not being able to see the familiar faces of 4L. it was as if it was just yesterday we just met each other on the first day of sec 3. we had some icebreakers and everyone was seated in a circle. and merwyn dressed up as a pig. we spent so much times together i cant bear for us to part. i'll miss everyone. i'll miss sitting together as a class during assembly. i'll miss having lessons in that smelly old container classroom. which reminds me, i might not be able to officially step in there again; there's no need to. i'll miss the days we had fun together as a class, during racial harmony day, during class gathering at ayesha's house, E&C week... i miss our teachers, especially mr suria. mr tan. mr ong. mdm eu. everyone is so cute i dont know what to do. but everything has an ending, so here is my ending for you:

i totally forgot to mention about the o level higher chinese paper i took this morning in my previous post. haha! well, took it this morning and i think it's quite tough leh. and it was my first time attempting not to write the 报章报道. im just happy to get a D7 and above to not take chinese next year. haha.


after that, me and debbie and dodo finally went for the dimsum buffet. we started queueing since 2pm! there were so many people lol. and we were so hungry we took alot alot of plates. and i mean ALOT. the people around us were looking at us la. haha. damn kiasu. but we couldnt finish some of them so we hide them in between plates and let the waitress take it away. =X lol damn auntie and cheapo. but the food was not bad, i like the custard bun and one of their guotie and their pickled thingy and some heavenly thing which i dunno what's that. oh and the prata-like thing. lol. but the xiaolongbao was abit saddening. oh i like the almond jelly too. wahlau the buffet practically must snatch one leh. damn alot of aunties will take alot and keep pushing one. and when there is a refill, everybody swarm to the buffet table. lol. good place to eat, but i wont go there with my boyfriend man. so ugly haha. sorry didnt take pictures there cause we were too busy eating. haha.



bought the loreal infallible lip colour in invincible red today! haha tried the tester and its damn solid okay. it really doesnt smudge at all and it last for DAMN LONG. i tried to wash it away with soap and water at least 3 times but its still there. i tried make up remover also but its still there. lol. it says it can last for 16 hours. and i chose a siren red colour because ive got too many of the gay pink ones. ahaha. cant wait to try it out soon. :D

tomorrow and friday will be the last days with 4L. i cant bear to leave them! i really cant imagine life without them leh. im so used to walking into class early in the morning and see all the sick of life faces of everybody. and ruolan's poking. lol. and i REALLY REALLY hope EVERYBODY promotes la, dont make life so difficult for them. i cant imagine going into class next year without them. makes me wanna sing "i can't live~~~~~ if living is without yoooouuu~~~~" D:


holidays starts next week! i'll be working at my father's office for the weekdays, so i'll be blogging less i guess. my life will be quite boring! haha. but i gotta earn lots and lots of money! there's so many things i want to buy. and since the season of giving is coming soon, i reckon i should be more generous this time and get really good christmas presents for everyone. im so sick of lousy presents already haha. so i gotta earn lots of money this time! :D

howdy! yesterday, me and debbie went to chinatown and haji lane to continue taking pretty pictures! the back alleys are so colourful and pretty. :) here are some of my favourite ones: picture spamming time!

LOL! this picture cracks me up okay. i look like some chao ah lian. so vulgar. spoils the shu nu image of me. haha. and i need some new expression man, all like around the same one. haha.



the delifrance strawberry mousse is heavenly. really! it's a little bit sweet, a little bit tangy, a little bit fruity, a little bit creamy. wooohooo. haha.


we didnt take alot at haji lane though, those above is at chinatown. it was raining, damn spoiler la. but we went to shop around the cute little shops. wahlau the shops damn cute can! damn retro and vintage! haha. but very expensive also. me and debbie bought this tank dress for $20 each. sale dude. i got the red one and she got the blue one. but we decided it spoils our party girl image to wear such a long dress so i folded it up. and it looked like that:



eh my hair here is after i let down my bun. lol cute right! big and bouncy curls. haha.


i think debbie can be a photographer man, her pictures are so cute. i took some for her too, but it turned out a bit ugly. (?) then again, my face is too ugly i think i should just stick to my makeup artist plan. anyone wants to hire me? -looks around



i received a package today! i love the suspense when you rip open the package to see what's inside. ahaha. love receiving mails and parcels.



it's my coastal scents brushes. wahoo! and my empty palette. but eh, i only ordered one, but they gave me two. woohoo. haha. got free gift somemore sia:



its a sample size bottle of pigment. yay now i can press it haha. i love the people at coastal scents, they are so friendly and they give free gifts with every purchase! so cool la! and they even package it nicely for you in a little mesh bag, and wrap it in neon green paper. and bubble wrap envelop. and they have these little stickers saying "please wash the brushes before use" and "hope you enjoy the little gift from us". so cute la! haha, everyone please try coastal scents brushes some day okay! maybe next time i'll try their cosmetics. :)

mummy's not around for the weekend, she flew to penang for all soul's day. something like 清明节 i think, to go there and pay respects my grandfather who died last year. woah, didnt know its been a year already, i still remember how we'll go eat together as one big family with that funny old man. and he's always so generous with his angpow. rest in peace ah gong. <3


well, last friday we wanted to go eat a dimsum buffet at laobeijing. there were so many people queueing for it, but in the end, we did not manage to eat it because there were limited seats. wth okay, we queued so long for it. so in the end, we went to eat sakae buffet instead. and we're being so sneaky, disposing the rice and the awful dishes into a plastic bag. lol. me, debbie and dodo ate around 40 to 50 plates? haha. the people look quite annoyed with us but who cares. it's a buffet, hello? oh, we made debbie throw up in the bag to destroy all evidence. (?)


me and debbie went to fort canning park to take some pretty pictures. lol. we thought we were aspiring party girls, taking cute pictures with pretty backgrounds. ahaha. here's some pics which debbie photoshopped:

and then we went to shokudo at raffles city for lunch. and i ate some wafu pasta with ribeye and of course, my favourite tofu cheesecake. but guess what?



it shrunk! now it's like a square la wth. last time is was a rectangle one okay, much wider. damn it la. but it taste as heavenly as before.



this is debbie's miso soup. $2 for such a small bowl lol. compare it with the card haha. and the worst thing is, she says it tastes like the instant kind. lol.


and then i had the sudden urge to cut my fringe cos i couldnt stand it anymore. so we went to kimarie(or is it kimage?) at suntec to cut my fringe. wah lau i tell you my fringe is damn long one lor, so long i had to clip it up to the side. i left the house like this:




and then after i cut my fringe, it became like this:

i look like a fucking china prostitute right! wahlau eh. actually when i cut it, it looks quite nice. but just now when i washed my hair, it looks fucking ugly okay. i tried to blow dry it, straighten but it still looks like fuck. and it's too short to pin everything up already. i dont know how am i going to face the world anymore. fucking fringe, making me so angry okay. i so painfully waited for my fringe to grow so long and then i cut it. damn it la! im not suited for short bangs. now i have to wait for it to grow long again. hais. D:


and then we walked around for a bit then headed to serangoon for the class bbq at ayesha's house. wahlau i was the most overdressed one over there la, wearing dressy top and heels. and make up and hair extensions. damn out of place. and my topshop heels were torturing my feet okay. i have like 5 blisters. ouch.


met up with jean and cheehooi and we continued taking more pictures. walked around the estate and there were so making banglahsforeign workers wolf whistling at us la. but we took many pretty pictures! yea, debbie photoshopped all of them.

dodo didnt go for the bbq as she had some family dinner. was surprised almost all the girls came(except for dodo and joanne) but only yunpeng, binsing and zhiyong went. lol. but they're so sweet, helping us start the fire and cooking the food. zhiyong found a new soulmate, which is ayesha's sister. he couldnt stop playing with her lol. debbie ate lotsa sweet potatoes. (?)


more pictures in jean's camera but she hasnt sent me yet. after that, me and debbie took a bus to ang mo kio and went home. wahlau i wanna take a trip around singapore and take more pretty pictures like that sia! next time i shant wear my heels lol, killing me man.


been lazing about the whole day. mummy's coming home tonight, gotta clean up the place before she nags again. lol. tomorrow's a holiday cause it's promotion day. im so so so hoping everyone i know will promote, especially debbie, cheehooi, jean and winnie. in fact, everyone in our class la! please please let them promote alright!
